Three years ago, the energy department of the Port of Tallinn (AS Tallinna Sadam) concluded that over 3000 devices on their technical network would benefit from a central maintenance management system.

It’s a publicly listed company managing five ports: the main passenger harbor of Estonia in the capital Tallinn, the country’s largest cargo harbor in Maardu, two more cargo harbors in Paldiski and Paljassaare and another passenger port on the popular island of Saaremaa. The company also operates two main ferry-lines of the country carrying over 2 million passengers and 1 million vehicles a year.
